Guess the Starting XI - Week Three vs. Colorado

We’re rolling into week three with the Guess the Starting XI contest, and it was good to see so many of you joining the fray and picking up a decent haul of points.

With Marc Dos Santos making no changes to his starting XI, it made for another pretty predictable week in that portion of the contest. That being said, now that Caio Alexandre and Bruno Gaspar have made their MLS debuts, there’s certainly a possibility we see some changes to the set-up against the Rapids.

In terms of the result and score prediction, congrats to Fudmur, Airos and Edmond Kilpatrick for correctly picking a draw, and a big shoutout to our new overall leader Norwegian Would, who correctly predicted a 2-2 draw, earning himself a full 25 points in week two, and a five point lead in the overall standings.

With the Whitecaps undefeated so far, and facing a Colorado team which just handed Austin FC their first ever MLS victory, which way will things go this weekend for the “home” team?

• Predictions will be ‘valid’ if posted HERE prior to the lineup being officially announced, usually about an hour before kickoff.
• You receive 1 point for every player you correctly guess to be in the Starting XI. You receive 4 bonus points for correctly predicting all 11 starters.
• You get 5 points for correctly guessing Win/Lose/Draw, this doubles to 10 if you also predict the right score-line along with the result.
• That means, if you correctly predict the Starting XI, Final Score, and Winner, you can earn 25 points!
