Vancouver Whitecaps Prospect Report (March 2021)

MLS: Portland Timbers at Vancouver Whitecaps Anne-Marie Sorvin-USA TODAY Sports

It was another quiet month for Whitecaps loanees. Nevertheless there was some action so let’s look at how everyone got on.

Simon Colyn:

Colyn has continued to play regularly for Spal U-19, for whom he has now played 9 times. He scored his first goal this month. Peter Galindo included some analysis (with video) of Colyn’s play in his latest Canadians Abroad Mailbag.

Jasser Khmiri:

Khmiri was loaned to USL side San Antonio F.C. Their season is scheduled to begin on April 24th.

College Players:

Two of the Whitecaps 2021 SuperDraft picks elected to return to university and play the season before making decisions about their professional futures.

Joel Harrison:

Harrison has played every game for Michigan in 2021. He has been part of a defence that has averaged 0.95 goals against per 90 minutes.

Eric Iloski:

Iloski was subbed off after 37 minutes in UCLA’s first game and has not been seen since. I assume he is injured.
