It was reported tonight (Thursday) on the local news that 2 members of the Whitecaps Residency program have been charged with sexual assault following an alleged “serious incident” at their training facility last week.
Global BC also reported that the 2 boys, whose identities are protected because they are underage, are students at Burnaby Central High School have also been suspended.
The club said that this “was in clear contravention of the club’s code of conduct. The safety and well being of our players is our top priority and we have been cooperating fully with the RCMP investigation”
