Are you interested in writing about the Vancouver Whitecaps on a regular basis? We are hiring a new writer (or two) at 86 Forever.
We are seeking someone who is passionate about the Whitecaps and would be interested in helping get the news out about the team. This is a great opportunity for those who are wanting to get into the writing industry, and sports writing industry specifically. Many of our previous writers have gone on to work for various news media outlets around Vancouver.
Writers will be expected to be available to assist with covering Whitecaps matches and to develop their own pieces beyond match coverage. The options for non-match articles is broad: whatever topics most interest you. We also have a strong social media presence that we would like writers to participate in. Finally, interest in Whitecaps FC 2 and National Team is an asset although not required.
