Major League Soccer in Canada is staying on TSN. MLS announced on Tuesday, they’ve signed a 5 year broadcast rights extension with TSN. There’s also a five year deal with TVA to provide French-Language broadcasts for select Montreal Impact matches.
According to the MLS news release, some of the highlights include a ‘Game of the Week’ on Saturday nights, as well as a new Friday night window in the Spring. TSN will carry all Whitecaps FC and Toronto FC matches. They will also broadcast the All-Star game and the post-season. There will also be American content, as TSN will broacast ‘marquee match-ups’ featuring US based teams.
