Pa Modou-Kah Moves to WFC 2 as Player/Coach

It means his days as a Whitecap are over, but also, just beginning

MLS: Vancouver Whitecaps FC at Portland Timbers Troy Wayrynen-USA TODAY Sports

The era of Pa Modou Kah in a Vancouver Whitecaps kit is over; sort of. The Center Back has opted to move to the Whitecaps USL affiliate, WFC2. He'll be there in a player/coach role, and the club has mutually terminated his contract to make it happen.

He'll also be working with the U-14-16, and U-18 teams, as well as with the Whitecaps residency program.

Kah was a serviceable depth option on the Whitecaps roster, although it certainly was an adventure seemingly every time he took to the pitch. One thing that can't be denied is his passion for the game, and the positive influence he seems to have on the players around him. He's a big personalty, and I hope this is the start of a successful second career for him.
