Three members of the Vancouver Whitecaps have been recognized for their play in the club's win over the Houston Dynamo over the weekend. Andrew Jacobson, the midfielder who started at Center Back, Goalkeeper David Ousted, and Captain Pedro Morales all made the cut.
Morales, of course, had the lone goal of the match which boosted his league leading goal total to four. David Ousted recorded his first clean sheet of the season, and Jacobson recorded eight clearances and two tackles in his Whitecaps debut. His solid performance was exactly what the team needed at the Center Back position, with Tim Parker and Kendall Waston away on International Duty and Christian Dean on the shelf with injury. The move to acquire him from NYCFC is starting to look like a very savvy move by the Whitecaps.
