The Vancouver Whitecaps will get their first taste of pre-season soccer today, when they battle the Seattle Sounders in a scrimmage in Tucson, Arizona. Let's be honest; It's not a match that means much, but it still is exciting to see the boys in action again, after what felt like an endless off-season.
The scrimmage will be missing several players that figure to be regular players for the Whitecaps in 2016, including Sam Adekugbe, Tim Parker and Kendall Waston, who are all away on International Duty. Pa Modou Kah, Pedro Morales and Kektua Manneh are all dealing with minor injury issues (isn't that terrific), and newcomer Christian Bolanos has joined the squad, but won't play.
This is also the Sounders first scrimmage of the season.
WhitecapsFC.com has a live stream of the match set up, and kick-off is set for 4 pm.
