Well, in case you hadn't heard, a few positions on the Eighty Six Forever writing team recently opened up, and that means we are currently looking for contributors. That's right, the unbelievably glamorous life of a sports blog contributor could be yours! (Think fast cars and even faster yachts).
I've had the pleasure of working with a number of talented people during my time with this site, and everyone here, myself, AtlantisB and Alistair are very excited to add some new voices to the mix and keep that streak going. The site has seen a lot of growth over the past few years, and it's a trend we're hoping to see continue as we get deeper into 2016.
Who Should Apply?
- We're looking for anybody passionate about soccer, but since this is a Vancouver Whitecaps site, you have to have a good knowledge of the club and their history. (Can you make a Jarju joke? Front of the line!)
- Somebody who can write clear and quality English-language articles
- Somebody who has the time to contribute to the site consistently, and communicate with their peers
- We love creativity. Out-of-the-box writing encouraged.
It's an unpaid gig, but would be perfect for anybody looking to polish their writing skills and perhaps gain a little exposure for their work. If you'd like to throw your hat in the ring, take a few minutes to fill out this application.
