The Vancouver Whitecaps used a pair of second half goals to power past the Houston Dynamo 2-0 on Tuesday night, wrapping up their Tucson, Arizona training camp with a perfect 3-0 record.
This match was a little different from the other two, as teams played four, 30 minute quarters. The Whitecaps went with a veteran lineup for the first 60 minutes, but were unable to find the back of the net.

The deadlock would be broken in the 98th, as second half substitute Marco Bustos was able to find the back of the net. It was started by newcomer Fraser Aird and 15 year old residency forward Alphonso Davies, who forced a turnover near midfield. Davies then pushed the ball up the pitch before sliding a nice pass to Bustos, who finished nicely for the first goal of the game.
The Whitecaps would get some insurance in the 118th minute, as an Aird cross was deflected into the Dynamo net by Dynamo defender Sebastien Ibeagha.
The Whitecaps next pre-season duties will see them take part in the Simple Invitational in Portland from February 19th to the 27th.
