If Fraser Aird's twitter account is any indication, it looks like his time with the Vancouver Whitecaps has come to an end. Aird posted this tweet recently, and it certainly looks like a farewell message to fans.

Aird joined the Whitecaps on loan in January. His future with the club has been in doubt since a telling interview with Goal.com in October.
Whitecaps head coach Robinson has said that he would be keen to bring the three-time capped Canadian international back to the Pacific Northwest on a permanent deal this coming winter, but there is currently no guarantee that he would be anything more than a squad player in that scenario.
Aird started the season slowly, but showed good signs of progression as the year wore on. He battled injury however, and was never able to take a strong hold of the position. If this was his only season in Vancouver, it’s a shame we won’t be able to see if he can take that next step.
What do you think? Would you have liked to see Aird back next year?
