The ‘Caps would double the lead in the second half, with the Captain showing off some nice finish in the 48th minute.

The match was far from locked up however, as Oklahoma City began to fight back and turn the tide. In the 60th minute, Danni Koning pulled OKC to within one. A few moments later, Timo Pitter shocked Vancouver by scoring the equalizer.

It looked like the wind had been taken out of the Whitecaps sails, but the youngsters had something else up their sleeve. With literally moments remaining in regulation, Daniel Haber scored to make it 3-2 Vancouver, clinching the match and sending the ‘Caps through to the next round.
