Despite being a young man, at his 21 years of age, Victor Blasco has experienced what many footballers go through in an entire career. Victor left his native town of Mallorca to join the prestigious Barcelona youth academy at the tender age of seven only to return years later and become a professional footballer in this hometown club.
Victor talks about his brave and difficult decision of leaving professional football in Spain searching for a better life and education in Canada and how the Vancouver Whitecaps gave him the opportunity of maintaining his dream of being a professional footballer alive.
