Whitecaps FC 2 USL Schedule Released

Whitecaps FC 2 have released their schedule for the upcoming season, their second in the USL league. The Whitecaps went 8-6-14 in their inaugural campaign, which left them in 11th place (out of 12) in the Western Conference, and out of a playoff spot.

Some notable dates and notes, per the official media release;

Sunday Fundays: WFC2 will play 10 Sunday home matches, including eight times when the MLS team is out of town

Double dip weekends: Three times during the year WFC2 will have a home match the same weekend as the first team: Sunday, May 29, Sunday, June 19, and Labour Day on Monday, September 5

Road trip: The longest stretch of away matches will be four in a row from June 25 to July 16

Home sweet home: WFC2 will play six of their final eight matches at home, with three in August and three in September to end the season

Coming to a venue near you? The venues for two home matches are still to be announced: Sunday, August 21 and Labour Day on Monday, September 5. Both matches will take place in the Lower Mainland. Stay tuned to find out if WFC2 will be coming to a venue near you!

Event nights are returning, and the club is looking to cash in on the Star Wars craze with a May the 4th be with you date planned.
