Pa Modou Kah Named to Team of the Week

A career best performance has been recognized by MLS

Jennifer Buchanan-USA TODAY Sports

The most unlikely of scoring heroes stepped up big time for the Vancouver Whitecaps over the weekend, and MLS is recognizing it was a spot on the Team of the Week.

Pa Modou Kah, the Center Back who's very much been under the microscope this season, delivered two goals in Vancouver's 3-0 victory over the Seattle Sounders, helping the Whitecaps collect three very important points.

Kah is part of a three person backline on the team that includes Eric Gerhig of the Chicago Fire and the Houston Dynamo's David Horst.

Pa Modou Kah (Vancouver Whitecaps) - Not only notched the brace as a defender, but six interceptions and three recoveries going well up the field were a big part of his team keeping the clean sheet.

Canadian and Orlando FC forward Cyle Larin also made the Team, notching two goals against the Columbus Crew. He now has five goals in his past two outings.
