David Ousted saved the Whitecaps proverbial bacon over the weekend, and he's been recognized by MLS for it.

The Great Dane was named to the MLS Team of the Week for his unbelievable performance against the New York Red Bulls, a match that included two penalty kick saves.
GK: David Ousted (Vancouver Whitecaps) - We are running out of words to describe how good this guy has been this year. He had two big PK saves on Bradley Wright-Phillips and another huge save on Manolo Sanchez in the Whitecaps' 2-1 win.
As well, Kekuta Manneh made the cut. Scooter was a bit of an interesting choice, given he had a disappointing second half, but obviously his first half strike was enough for the folks over at MLSSoccer.com.
M: Kekuta Manneh (Vancouver Whitecaps) - Scored the opening goal for the 'Caps and looked dangerous on a night that saw him collect three successful dribbles.
Ousted also landed a spot on the best plays of the night.
Congratulations to Manneh, Ousted, and the Vancouver Whitecaps!
