Manneh was recognized for popping in the games opening goal, his first of the season. It was also a return to form for the youngster, who had not played well his last time out against the Orlando Magic. He was suspended in that match and missed the Timbers the following weekend. Thankfully, it looks like the break did Manneh some good, as the 'Caps look for him to take the next step in 2015. (The goal celebration could use some work though)
Teibert, meanwhile, may have just cemented himself in the starting 11 for the foreseeable future after his great work against the Galaxy. He managed to keep Robbie Keane in check, while completing 55 of 60 passes on the night. That's not great news for Gershon Koffie, who may find it hard to find playing time if Teibert continues his brilliant work.
Congratulations to Russell Teibert and Kekuta Manneh! Hopefully they can keep the good mojo going when they take on Columbus this week.
