The Vancouver Whitecaps gave a dominant 90-minute performance against the L.A. Galaxy tonight in their 2-0 win at B.C. Place. This was a game where fans would be hard pressed to identify a player that had a bad game.

Although the Whitecaps missed a few chances in the first half, they were effective at shutting down the Galaxy with Teibert frustrating Keane again and again. After several close calls for Kekuta Manneh, he finally broke through, after a great pass from Morales, and slotted the ball home for his first goal of the season, in the 55th minute. In a sign of the comradery that exists on this season's team, Kekuta celebrated by placing a ball under his shirt and traveling over, with his teammates, to Jordan Harvey to congratulate the announcement of his wife's pregnancy.

After constant pressure from the Whitecaps, MLS Player of the Month, Octavio Rivero, was rewarded for his hard work all game with his 4th goal of the season, in the 65th minute. The Whitecaps then brought on some speed and shutdown the rest of the game, controlling possession and creating several scoring opportunities.

It was a great game and a short turn-around with another game on Wednesday against Columbus. See you all then!
