As the Vancouver Whitecaps did battle with Kaka and Orlando City FC for the first time in MLS this past weekend, the Whitecaps USL affiliate also had a pretty good day at the office.
WFC 2 finished up their pre-season campaign with a 3-2 victory against Oregon State University at the SFU campus in Burnaby, a good sign as they head into their regular season opener against Seattle's USL affiliate, Sounds FC 2 this weekend.
Victor Blasco, Tyler Rosenlund and Jovan Blagojevic tallied for the Whitecaps, while Spencer Richey got the start and win in net.
WFC 2 also defeated SFU 5 to 1 on Thursday, with Mackenzie Pirdham scoring a ridiculous 4 goals in the match.
