The Vancouver Whitecaps continue to add to their roster, bringing in Honduran Youth International Deybi Flores on a one year loan from Club Deportivo Motagua of the Honduran Liga Nacional.
The 18 year old is listed at 6'0 and 150 lbs, and started 16 matches over the past two seasons with Motagua. He also took part in the 2015 CONCACAF U-20 Championship.
In a Whitecaps press release, Robinson describes Flores as a 'box to box midfielder with big upside'.
"He was one of the top players in the recent CONCACAF U-20 tournament and we are excited to welcome him to our club."
Flores also seems to be chomping at the bit to prove his worth, stating he was 'eager to join the team and fight for his spot'.
Flores won't join the Caps in Portland. Club is still sorting out his visa. #VWFC #MLS

Usually this is about the time we dig up a youtube video showing off some of the new acquisition's skill. A quick search has yielded.. well.. this.
What do you think Whitecaps fans? It doesn't appear Flores will make an immediate impact, but could be a nice surprise this season.
