"We're excited to add three great, young promising players who have come a long way over the last four years with the Whitecaps FC Residency program. This is an important opportunity in their own development to play in a professional league. I'm looking forward to seeing them excel and hopefully this will push them on the next level."
-Alan Koch, WFC2 Head Coach
Combined the trio made nearly 300 appearances during their time with the Whitecaps residency and U-23 teams. In addition, Farmer made an appearance for the Canadian Men's National team in September 2013, and both Haynes and Piraux have represented Canada at the youth levels.
WFC2 will play their first competitive match on the 29th of March against Sounders FC 2 at the Starfire Sports Complex in Seattle.
