Gershon Koffie Wins Whitecaps Goal of the Year

Gershon Koffie's May 30th goal against RSL was picked by the fans

Vancouver Whitecaps supporters have voted for the best Whitecaps goal of the year, and midfielder Gershon Koffie is taking home the bragging rights. By the way, can you tell we are now full-swing into off-season writing? WHEN DOES THE SEASON START?!

Koffie was recognized for his May 30th twine tickler against Real Salt Lake, which was his 100th career MLS start. According to WhitecapsFC.com, Koffie beat out Octavio Rivero's header against Orlando by a wide margain to take the title.

Meanwhile, voting is still open for the Whitecaps Save of the Year. You can check that out here, and you have until December 13th to make your pick.
