Another honor for the Whitecaps Center Back has come down

The accolades continue to pour in for Whitecaps Center Back Kendall Waston, as he was named to the MLS Best XI on Sunday.

The Best XI counts votes from media, players and club leadership to pick the best players from their respective positions.

Waston was one of three defenders named to the list, along with Laurent Cimant from the Montreal Impact and Matt Hedges from FC Dallas. The full list is below:

Goalkeeper - Luis Robles (New York Red Bulls)
Defender - Laurent Ciman (Montreal Impact)
Defender - Kendall Waston (Vancouver Whitecaps FC)
Defender - Matt Hedges (FC Dallas)
Midfielder - Benny Feilhaber (Sporting Kansas City)
Midfielder - Fabian Castillo (FC Dallas)
Midfielder - Dax McCarty (New York Red Bulls)
Midfielder - Ethan Finlay (Columbus Crew SC)
Forward - Sebastian Giovinco (Toronto FC)
Forward - Kei Kamara (Columbus Crew SC)
Forward - Robbie Keane (LA Galaxy)

This is the first time a member of the Vancouver Whitecaps has made the Best XI list.

Waston has already been named Team MVP, and was also a finalist for the MLS Best Defender Award. The Whitecaps wisely locked him up to a multi-year extension recently.
