Talented Group of Players Returning to WFC2 for 2016

VANCOUVER, BC - days after news that five Vancouver Whitecaps residency graduates will be on the 2016 WFC2 roster, the club announced on Tuesday that eight players from the 2015 WFC2 USL roster will also return for next year.

The group of returning players includes goalkeeper Spencer Richey, defenders Jackson Farmer, Sahil Sandhu, Will Seymore and Deklan Wynne, as well as midfielders Victor Blasco, Brett Levis, and Mitch Piraux.

With several months in a long off season still to go, WFC2 head coach Alan Koch has a solid core of players in place for 2016, and will no doubt continue to build and strengthen his team over the winter.

"We're very pleased to bring back our core group of young players for a second season together," said Koch. "With a year of experience under their belts, our squad will know what to expect going into next year."
