According to Marc Weber of 'The Province', Whitecaps Captain Pedro Morales has just a 50/50 shot of playing again this season, and further doubt is being cast on his availability for the post-season in November. Morales has been fighting the injury bug all season long, and he likely won't play in Wednesday's match with FC Dallas. The report states Morales is also questionable to take on the Dynamo in the Regular Season finale, and there's no certainty he will be ready for the playoffs.
It's just one of a few notable injuries for the Whitecaps, who are surely glad to have already locked up a post-season spot. Pa Modou Kah, Mauro Rosales and Nicolas Mezquida are all battling injury and likely won't play Wednesday, while Cristian Techera is also battling injury, but may actually see some minutes.
Hopefully the Whitecaps will be healthier when the post-season gets underway, but for now, Head Coach Carl Robinson has some tough choices to make. Gary Kingston of the Vancouver Sun points out Robinson may also be without Sam Adekugbe, Kendall Waston, Marco Bustos and Kianz Froese, away on International duty.
What do you think? With so many starters out, who should Carl Robinson use on Wednesday?
