The Whitecaps will be without the services of Waston and Mattocks for the October 7th match against Dallas.

Center Back Kendall Waston and striker Darren Mattocks have been called up to their respective national teams for some international friendly matches next week.

A news release from the club says Waston will join Costa Rica for two matches, the first against South Africa on October 8th, and an October 13th date with The United States. Mattocks will also play on October 13th, as Jamaica takes on South Korea in Seoul. Interestingly enough, Mattocks has scored in 4 straight appearances for the Reggae Boyz.

It means the pair will leave after this weekend's match against San Jose, but they will miss an important matchup against FC Dallas on October 7th. Waston is slated to return for the October 18th road match against Dallas, but Mattocks will join the club when they return home.
