Are You Off the Bandwagon?

The Whitecaps second straight 3-0 loss to the Portland Timbers was incredibly disappointing. Now with 5 games left in the season, and the 'Caps 2 points out of a playoff spot, are you still on the bandwagon?

The Vancouver Whitecaps put forth another dismal effort over the weekend, matching the humiliating scoreline from a few weeks ago against the Portland Timbers in a 3-0 turd of a game. In a match that the Whitecaps desperately needed to win, it instead proved to be a statement match, the statement being that the Whitecaps are simply not good enough.

Now, an optimist would point out the fact there's still five games to go in the MLS regular season, and the Whitecaps sit only two points out of a playoff spot. If this team could somehow go on some sort of a streak down the stretch here, they might be able to make some noise. Then again, when you look at just how ineffective the Whitecaps are at scoring goals, it's hard to imagine them putting up much of a fight. In their last seven matches, the Whitecaps have three goals, and two of them came in one match.

By the way, in case you wanted to feel worse about everything, here's a video of whatshisname scoring a goal, with the assist going to Ronaldlinho.

It looks like the Vancouver Whitecaps might be going for the three-peat when it comes to choking down the stretch. Again though, believe it or not, there is time in the season for this club to turn around, just not much of it. Do you think the Whitecaps will be able to solve their scoring woes? Will any of our young strikers step up into the fold?

These are questions the club has been answering the for the last few months, and the answer has been a resounding no. Do you think that will change heading into final stretch of the season?

In short, are you still on the bandwagon? Do you believe this team can make the post-season?
