Unless you've been hospitalized recently, due to a rather unfortunate bike rack incident, you've probably heard that the Vancouver Whitecaps have moved Nigel Reo-Coker to Chivas USA in exchange for Mauro Rosales.
There's been an overwhelmingly positive reaction to the new acquisition, though the question persists in many quarters: When and where are the Caps going to get their scoring?
Many have questioned the need for another playmaker when there's a crying need for a natural goal scorer. Perhaps, the thinking out of the gaffer is this: There are two ways to increasing the Goals For numbers:
(1) Obtaining an accomplished goal scorer.
(2) Obtaining yet another playmaker, following the philosophy that the more chances you create, all other things being equal, the more goals you should eventually score.
It's very short notice, but do you expect to see Carl Robinson select Rosales for the starting XI this weekend?
