Viewing Guide & Highlights: WFC vs. RBNY

The last time these two clubs met was just days after the Vancouver Whitecaps were "beaten" by the Montreal Impact in the final of the 2013 Voyageur's Cup.  As a team well known for their inability to win matches away from BC Place there was little hope that the Caps could go to the Big Apple and come back to Cascadia with points in hand.

After a scoreless first half the New York Red Bulls were given the advantage after a Greg Klazura own goal in the fifty-first minute, but just seven minutes later Jordan Harvey pounced on a loose ball in the box and smashed it into the top of Luis Robles' goal to tie the match.

In the end it was "Kenny Miller Goal Machine" who sealed the deal for the when he headed a beautiful cross from Russell Teibert to give the Caps a 2-1 advantage just seven minutes from time.

Will the Whitecaps be able to do it again and beat the Red Bulls in their only meeting of the 2014 regular MLS season?  We'll find out tomorrow!
