The Vancouver Whitecaps announced this morning that after a year-long absence from the Canadian Men's National Team, Russell Teibert has been called up as part of the 23-man roster that will face Panama for Canada's final friendly match of 2014 on November 18th in Panama City.
Also called into Benito Floro's squad is Teibert's teammate and fellow homegrown player, Bryce Alderson. Alderson was first called into the national team in May of this year, and was included in the 18-man game day roster for the friendly against Moldova.
