Pedro Morales has been nothing short of a revelation during his tenure thus far with the Vancouver Whitecaps. It was apparent right from the opening day 4-1 victory over the New York Red Bulls that the Caps had finally found the elusive "No. 10" that they had been looking for.
Last week Morales was honoured by the Whitecaps as the 2014 BMO Player of the Year, and his ten goals earned him the coveted Dominic Mobilio Golden Boot award.
Today FutolMLS.com announced the latest group of nominees for the 2014 Latino del Año award. Pedro's achievements this season have earned him a nomination, but he's up against some stiff competition including: Diego Valeri and Diego Chara from the Portland Timbers, and Gonzalo Pineda from the Seattle Sounders.
You can head on over to MLSSoccer.com to see all the nominees for Latino del Año 2014 award here.
Voting begins on November 3rd.
