Whitecaps Open Playoffs Wednesday in Dallas

The Vancouver Whitecaps will hope this kick at the playoffs will go a little better than last time around. Of course, that would be in 2012, when the Whitecaps backed their way into the post-season like a wounded animal, eventually falling to the LA Galaxy in the single knockout round. This time, the Whitecaps are entering the playoffs with a renewed sense of confidence, going 4-0-1 in their last 5 matches, ending with a dramatic 1-0 victory over Colorado to book their ticket.

The Whitecaps won't get much rest, as they do battle with FC Dallas on Wednesday, their first meeting since the 'Caps scored a 2-0 win earlier in October. You can catch the action on TSN 1 at 6 pm.
