No Suspension for Davidson

While Eric Hassli (FCD) and Chris Wingert (RSL) were handed one-match suspensions by the MLS Disciplinary Committee for their on-field infractions this past weekend, Jun Marques Davidson can count himself fortunate not to be joining them.

Davidson, who is third on the Whitecaps in fouls committed, but had not received any cautions coming into last weekend's match with the LA Galaxy. But in the 51st minute of that match, Davidson came sliding in from behind on Galaxy midfielder Pablo Mastroeni - picking up a caution, and a disciplinary review in the process.

The Committee handed down this week's suspensions yesterday, but Davidson was not included in the list.

Meanwhile, Gershon Koffie has now accumulated four cautions, is one yellow card away from suspension. Philadelphia Union forward Conor Casey (7G, 4A) will miss the upcoming match versus Vancouver due to yellow-card accumulation.
