After losing in second half injury time to Martinique in their Gold Cup opener Canada (FIFA ranking #88) is set to face Mexico (FIFA ranking #20) today in Group A action at Century Link Field in Seattle, Wa. Canada will be without Portland Timbers' midfielder Will Johnson, who became ill prior to the match against Martinique. Canada will also likely be without the services of the Vancouver Whitecaps' Russell Teibert, who also missed training on Wednesday because of illness. Canada last faced Mexico in qualifying for the 2010 FIFA World Cup and they played to a 2-2 draw in Edmonton, AB.
