Whitecaps Shortlisted for Goal of the Year

A few Whitecap beauties have made it into the second round

Anne-Marie Sorvin-USA TODAY Spor

We want to win something this year. Yes, the Cascadia Cup was nice, but now that we've tasted victory, we want more! So, in case you're looking for something to get those competitive juices flowing again, take five minutes and vote for the Whitecaps in the AT&T Goal of the Year competition.

In group 7 is Camilo and his wonderful goal versus the Chicago Fire on July 14th, that helped the Whitecaps to a 3-1 victory. Instead of myself bumbling around trying to explain it, here it is.

You may have some tough decisions to make however, as Kenny Miller also finds himself in Group 7. Remember this spectacular half volley against New England in June?

Group 8 is all but a forgone conclusion though. (Come on, do I really need to mention the scissor kick versus Portland?)

If you want to vote, just go here to do it now.

The Whitecaps need all the votes they can get! Get out there and vote, vote, vote!
