Feels like a long time since I've done this! After about a two week break for this year's exciting World Cup, the Caps come step back on to the field, rested as ever, to face the struggling Montreal Impact. Most Whitecaps fans have the added pleasure this season to laugh at the Impact's struggles, but now we hopefully get to witness it first hand. Now, here is my Predicted Starting Line-Up:
Ousted, Harvey, O'Brien, Leveron, Reo-C, Laba, Koffie, Manneh, Morales, Fernandez, Hurtado
Predicted Score: 4-1 Caps
McInerney (17), Morales (23), Manneh (45), Hurtado (62), Hurtado (68)
Jack McInerney surprisingly opens the scoring for the visitors after ghosting in on the back post to tap in a cross. Pedro Morales strikes from a beautfiul free-kick, and then Kekuta Manneh is able to put the Caps up after striking a deflected ball into the back of the net. Erik Hurtado gets his first MLS brace, with a cool one-on-one finish with the first, and a open net tap in for the second.
Good Luck Caps
