An interesting road affair against a team of excellent Olympic Divers soccer players, will prove not only to be vital, but an exciting match. With an overall aggregate of 4-2 this season for Dallas, the Caps look not to settle for the tie, but claim the win.
Although we are coming off a unfortunate tie with a stronger looking Chivas side, we must not hang our heads. Caps should remember that Chivas had the remainder of their games basically against western conference teams. Chivas showed they can grind out ties on the road, and even win at home (3-2 against New York). As I am a loyal Caps supporter, I can't help watching Chivas USA games, as they have become my new second-favourite team. (Side note-as their nickname is the Goats, do the fans grow goatees? Not a bad marketing trick for someone to use)
My Predicted Starting Line-Up:
Knighton, Harvey, O'Brien, Leveron, Lee, Reo-C, Kobayashi, Koffie, Miller, Camilo, Hurtado
2-1 for the Caps (scroll down to the comment section to call me a wanker now please)
Cooper (48), Camilo (80), Heinemann (89)
Call me crazy (or alternatives), but I can just feel a win in my gut. Kenny Cooper will start off the goals for FC Dallas when a two on one scenario just outside the box, is crossed across the box onto his foot. No sign of life in the Caps until sub Kekuta Manneh is brought down in the box, and Camilo equalizes from the penalty spot. Dallas looks to still have the win, as their impressive attacks are not converted, but Tommy Heinemann is the hero once again, climbing above the defence to head one in from a corner late on.
Good Luck Caps
