The Whitecaps, who are attempting to set the franchise record of consecutive wins, are facing a tough test on Wednesday. Sporting Kansas City are having an excellent year, scoring lots of goals. Vancouver will be without Russel Teibert and Carlyle Mitchell, which in one way could be looked as a loss, but it also makes room for either young rookies or players who have fell of the horse and need a bit of a kickstart (cough Mattocks cough). I expect a thrilling match, with goals galore from both attacking teams. Here's my Predicted Starting Line-up.
Knighton, Reo-C, Rusin, Leveron, Harvey, Watson, Davidson, Koffie, Camilo, Mattocks, Miller
Kamara (7), Camilo (39), Colin (69), Miller (76)
KC's striker Kei Kamara puts the home side ahead after he tracks a through ball down and slots in his third goal in two matches. Our Wee Brazilian, Camilo, equalizes for us after a cross somehow finds Camilo at the back post, and he curls it top corner from close in. Aurélien Collin restores the lead after connecting with a corner kick and heading it past a "trying" Brad Knighton. Once again, Kenny Miller is our road warrior. He finishes a break away after a rare ball from Darren Mattocks finds him in an open situation. KC attempts to find the winner, but Vancouver closes shop and gets a well deserved point.
Good Luck Caps!
