The Vancouver Whitecaps added some more depth to their backline today, signing center back Adam Clement to a deal, pending the receipt of his international transfer certificate.

The 'Caps needed a few more bodies back there, given that Captain Jay Demerit has been lost for a while with his achilles injury.

The 22 year old Clement was selected 31st overall by the 'Caps in this years supplemental draft, and figures to be nothing more than a depth player, for now anyways. You might have seen him in the pre-season, as he played four matches in that time for Vancouver.

The 'Caps certainly kept the size movement going, as Clement measures in at 6'4 at almost 200 lbs.
