It takes balls to play this game. But do the Caps have enough to defeat Toronto? - USA TODAY Sports
In less than a week, Vancouver Whitecaps fans will be hoping that lightning does indeed strike twice. In 2011, the Caps celebrated their entry into Major League Soccer by winning their inaugural match 4-2 over a hapless Toronto FC. In a case of deja vu all over again, Vancouver will again be hosting Toronto to start the season.
You've read the all the reports, watched every second of the preseason highlights. Hell, you even look up Charleston on Google Earth. And now you've begun dusting off your Whitecaps scarf and other assorted team paraphernalia.
Just about everyone with a keyboard and a passing interest in MLS soccer has given their views, analyses, projected lineups, depth charts, and power rankings.
Now it's your turn. What's your take on how things will shake out on March 2? Are you collectively assured that Toronto is nothing more than road kill waiting to happen? Or are you more cautiously optimistic?
