Earlier in the week I posted a poll question asking fans what was the most important thing they needed to do before the opening game on Saturday. The clear winner with 32% of the vote was "Pray that your season ticket doesn't place you next to the biggest idiot in the Pacific Northwest".
Clearly we can deduce two things from this. Firstly, that who you watch the game with is very important, and secondly that many of you have very little faith in your fellow man (or woman).
The other four options were pretty much neck and neck throughout the week with "Decide what your pre-game bar will be" finally clinching second spot. In last place was "Make sure that your lucky shirt, scarf or underwear is clean." So at least we know that Whitecaps fans are not a particularly superstitious group of people (or not a particularly clean group of people I suppose) .
I'll post another poll after the opening game to gauge the mood once we have seen the team out on the field, and don't forget that we are only three points off the top spot with a game in hand!
